Spook-tacular Halloween Experience!

Last October 31st, Manila Ocean Park had a unique underwater Halloween exhibit inside the Oceanarium. The employees also dressed up in their best scary costumes which gave guests a chilling and memorable experience while roaming around the park.

As everyone delved deeper into the Halloween festivities, we invited everyone at our Jack-O-Lantern Party  at 4 in the afternoon at Hotel H2O function room, wherein we offered a sumptuous merienda buffet featuring Halloween treats and had activities such as face painting, mystical pumpkin carving demo and animal interactions.

In line with our continues commitment to our CSR Program “I Love My Ocean Planet”, this Halloween celebration highlighted the true horrors of nature- the harmful wastes that pose a real threat to biodiversity, especially marine life. With this advocacy, we want to instill and inculcate eco-friendly practices that aim to conserve nature, along with its resources, through a strong and collective front, all for a better and much more sustainable future.

Manila Ocean Park’s banner CSR program is called “I LOVE MY OCEAN PLANET”. A campaign that encourages volunteerism, public education and community mobilization activities designed to increase public awareness and action on coastal management issues and instill pride in our country’s natural resources. It is an expanded responsibility of stewardship not only with marine biodiversity but also with other creatures who are dependent on the wellness of the ocean.

Manila Ocean Park is fully aware of its obligation to reach a broad public and impart necessary information relevant to current environmental issues. It is our aim that the “Back to the Wild” Release program will be a step in the right direction for marine education and conservation. We hope that more people will do their share in ensuring the future generations will be able to enjoy and see these fascinating animals in their natural habitat.
